How Can I Help?

Volunteer

We are always happy to welcome new Den Leaders, Assistant Den Leaders and Pack Committee Members. Scouting is a volunteer-run organization and we could use your help!

Den leaders and Assistant Den Leaders lead groups of 4-6 boys or girls in their den meetings 2 to 3 times per month. The BSA provides training, available online, which will help you learn the program and prepare for den meetings.  Our Pack develops a yearly plan, where dens work on similar activities at the same time, to allow our leaders to work together to achieve goals.

Pack Committee members help plan events and meet necessary requirements, like budget, schedule and leader training.

Per BSA policy and Trinity UMC’s Safe Sanctuary Requirements, all potential leaders must complete Youth Protection Training offered by the BSA, prior to registering as an adult leader.  All adult leaders must complete an application, which includes a background check.

Whatever your interest, we have a place for you, and we will be happy to have you.  Serving in Pack 22 leadership gives you a unique opportunity to work closely with your children and their friends. Contact us to learn more!

Be on the lookout for Scouts selling popcorn and camp cards. Funds raised help those Scouts pay for their adventures.
